Cantler's Riverside Inn

Nice to visit. Fun atmosphere. Crabs not that big, corn on the cob really tasty. Got a broiled and steamed platter. The food is fresh, but I'm not sure it's worth the wait. I'll try other seafood restaurants around the bay before returning.

Everything here was fresh, between the food and drinks everything was to die for. What's not to love about this place. You're by the water enjoying seafood. The staff here are amazing. The only thing I didnt like that the tables can get crowded with the amount of food you get. Other than that, this place is amazing.

The restaurant itself is a great place to enjoy a meal, situated right by the water but the food left something to be desired. I guess I expected better for the few extra $ per meal above other local spots. The crabs did look good, however, and we're priced in line with other spots.

Amazing as always. They were out of crabs so I settled for a crabcake and hush puppies as well as a cup of Jambalaya. The crabcake was delicious and had very little filler. I highly recommend it.

This place is crazy busy! The seafood is top notch, the views are nice, and the price is good. The outside deck fills upv right at 11am on the weekends but there is almost always space inside. The bar is good too. Also, take time to explore the entire area around the restaurant. There is all sorts of cool things to see.

Crabs were AMAZING and the crab dip was also great. A simple dinner with no complications. A few crabs weren't great, but simply ask for replacements and we got them! Great service and great food! Would eat here again.

Come for crab in an outfit that you don't mind getting a little dirty. Opt smash crabs yourself with a tiny hammer and pick the meat out the way locals do! Medium and Large were pretty close to the same size so if it's your first time, go with the medium bucket of crabs.

Easy to get to with gps and well marked signage. For our visit soft shell crabs was the specialty. Fantastic paper-thin soft-shell crab sandwich. Great mussels. Entire family enjoyed their dishes. Casual dining.

Always fantastic, worth the wait. The only thing that’s fresher is swimming in the ocean. Seriously, this is a great place for the whole family. Right on the river, so you can pull up in your boat, or just head down to the dock while you’re waiting for your table and check out the live crabs on the docks. Inside or outside, tables are family style. This place is all about the crabs. Hush Puppies and Onion Rings are also special.

Amazing deals on amazing food! There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The view outside is absolutely breath taking. I can't wait to go back!

Seating a bit cramped, tables a little greasy, but our dinner and server were great! We had the crab dip w/hot fresh bread for an appetizer, and I had the shrimp po'boy for dinner. Both were so delicious! I got the homemade chips as a side, not too flavorful, so I would recommend a different side. Fun, lively atmosphere!

Cantler's is my go-to place for crabs... Meat is always sweet. Drinks are incredibly yummy.... Prices are decent and staff has wonderful customer service... Also, there's a pretty nice view from the deck.

Casual place with great food. Easy to get to with GPS and well marked roads. The soft shell crabs specials were superb. Mussels were flavorful.

Went there for a date with my girl. Atmosphere was pretty chill, not too loud. Also not fancy either, which was great. The crab dip was the BEST I've ever had--amazing. Server was quick and attentive

We go out towards Annapolis on occasion pretty much just to have some great seafood. Many times our local friends have recommended this place as worth going out of the way for. So this last time we forewent the usual places we go to at the Kent Narrows (partly because of the traffic) and checked this place out. It certainly must be popular based on how crowded it was, but the wait wasn't horrible and the service was decent.Maybe I'm being too picky but although the food was great, I'm not sure it was above and beyond other more accessible places in the area. That said I would go back and we had a good experience.

I first heard about Cantlers from my cousin IG post one week ago. So, I decide to take the drive from DC. I purchased stuffed shrimp dinner, 1 snow crableg dinner and 1 dozen of medium crabs. The dinner was amazingly good. The medium crabs for $48 were not medium at all. The were smaller than small. Disappointed is an understatement because I asked when I called were the medium medium or small and I was told they were medium. So to take a 40 minute ride from DC will never happen again.

You need to come here. They have the best crab cake sandwich I've had on the entire east coast! I stop here every time I drive by!

Decent crabs. A bit overpriced. Service was just okay... especially not for the price you pay for those crabs. Nice view of the water- best to go on a nice day.

Best crabs in MD! Hot, sweet, and juicy. Cooked perfectly, and seasoned well too. Great service, thanks to Sonya for making sure our visit was well. So far I've only had the crabs, shrimp, and calamari. Calamari wasn't the greatest, but good. By the time I finish cracking crabs, there wasn't much room for much more but I definitely will try some food from the menu soon. Great atmosphere, but gets crowded fast. Full bar, daily specials. Great restaurant!

Very warm and friendly staff. The food is great and brought out to you quickly. Everything we had was amazing!!!
